To stand a chance of surviving the tougher enemies you'll face later in the game, you'll need to upgrade your armor — and to unlock all four upgrade tiers, you'll need to find all four Great Fairies. Here's our guide to their locations. There's just one catch. Each Great Fairy you find wants a larger amount of rupees: the first will cost you rupees, the second will cost you rupees, the third will cost you 1, rupees, and the fourth will cost an eye-watering 10, rupees — so you might want to check out our guide on how to farm rupees quickly. Take some cooling items drop some meat in the snow if you're stuck and head south west from Gerudo Town. You'll also find Hawa Koth Shrine, and one of the leviathan skeletons you'll need to photograph for a side quest here.

In The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild, the Great Fairies of Hyrule still exist, though not many have ever seen one, and their locations have faded into legends told by travelers. For one so brave as to find one, that person could gain new power - for a price. There are four Great Fairies to be found in Hyrule, each residing in a large closed orange flower that can sometimes be seen from a distance. These large flowers are also often surrounded by the familiar pink Fairies that you can grab if you sneak up on them quietly.
